shima
yesterday was one of this evenings, i got to get out. no matter where, i needed people and music around me.
in a hidden music-pub that i found after almost one hour of searching, behind a door that i was not sure if i wanted to get inside… i just hoped “let there be rock”!
behind this door there was light… and drums, and guitar… and rock!!!
galaxo. galaxo are 5 people that made me smile along the whole evening. lots of old stuff, rocky, powerfull. a 100% live playing band, handmade music, and a voice that i’ll never forget.
shima, the little lady with a big voice. as she performed songs from tina turner, i really had to look twice to be sure, the 70-year-old lady is not on the stage right now. amazing.
galaxo play theyr music. they play the songs they like, that’s the feeling you get. and they play the songs where shimas voice can open her wings. and she flyes!
i’ll be back, in this little pub, i’ll be there again when shima sings.
…and i feel like i should show my guitar the stage-lights again. but don’t be scared now: this is the only part of the evening i’ll forget again.
