the weather was ok. i was going out, still without knowing where to go. i had my paper and my pencils on my bag, and the idea of green and water in my mind.

on the way out, there was my mailbox. it looked at me with a big newspaper on its mouth and smiled. i was not really happy about it. there is a sticker on it to avoid useless publicity but no deliverer seemst to be able to read.

i took the newspaper out and rolled my eyes. i’ll find a paper-box somewhere on my way, no problem.

and then, on the first page, an article about a middle-age-market. somewhere, quite outside my usual ways, but not too far away. now i knew where to go.

i didn’t want to sit the whole day in the tram, so i only took it untill the center. the rest ist a very good job for my new shoes. with the map on my pocket and the sun above me, it was a joy to walk along these new ways. the next time i’ll drive my bike again, i’m quite sure. sundays there is enough street for everybody.

i found a very nice middle-age market. with lots of happy people inside, with many stages, with lots of things to try and taste, with a soft educacional touch, without forcing anybody to get back in time, but allowing it.

i drunk a beer. and walked around. i was happy. i enjoyed the atmosphere and the inputs, the smiling people around me, the artists and the little tents with handchrafters, the smell of wood-fire, the clothes that i like anyway… i was really happy about it.

my highligt was a couple of artists from down under. they played the violine and made a very funny, very nice show. lots of little surprises that kept the show goin on, nobody left his place before it was over.

the other artists were also very good. between musicians and clowns, story-tellers and marionettes, there was a lot to see and play with. i don’t want to write too much about it. enjoy the pictures.

strings on fire, this two lovely people (hi mare, hi nellie), are planing a tour next year around southlyer europe. maybe they can need a hand by looking for places to play on. and for some shows, maybe someone that plays electical violine. spain and portugal are the plan.

i walked around 20km today. my feet hurt so bad that i start to understand women. but i don’t regret it. every single step was the pain worth.

i was amazed about what is makeable. i would invite the organizers from magdeburg to come around and to see that you can make this kind of things right, and only ask for 4-5€ entry.

Mach’s gut!
    Grüße
